the sister

A couple of weekends ago, my family went to a wedding. As my brother had brought his lovely camera along, I, of course, decided to steal it for the night and took photos of my family, particularly my sisters.
So, I took a photo of one of my sisters and drew it .. and this is what came out...

...and this morning I painted it...

Trying to capture the light on her face and neck was quite new but I enjoyed trying it out :)

Yes, I have indeed finished my painting - unless I end up deciding that I need to fix it somehow and do more to it... but this is the finished product .. for now :)
